Last Kids Picked

Vocal Harmony At Its Best

Imagine…four experienced, award-winning a cappella quartet singers, smooth sounding harmonies, great arrangements of wonderful songs folks can remember and hum along with in their heads…and you’ve got the ingredients for a wonderfully entertaining quartet. But imagine another dimension…that these four guys are a set of fathers and sons, whose love, friendship and dedication to excellence add an intangible warmth to their performance and lets them share a special “feeling” with their audiences. That’s what you get with Last Kids Picked!
Formed in early 2006, Last Kids Picked has already earned recognition as one of the top quartets in the Mid-Atlantic area, having won third-place medals at the Barbershop Harmony Society’s Mid-Atlantic District Quartet Contest held in the Wildwood, NJ Convention Center in October! Admittedly, expectations were high for this talented foursome…but no one anticipated the audiences’ standing ovations for their masterfully “clean,” heartfelt renditions of beautiful songs like “If I Only Had a Brain” from the Wizard of Oz, “It’s Impossible,” the Perry Como classic, and “Love at Home,” a lovely tribute to the ingredient which makes this quartet so popular already.
Last Kids Picked is honored to be awarded the prestigious 2007 Larry Ajer Endowment Fund's Quartet Scholarship for full tuition, room and board for the quartet to Quartet College at Harmony University this summer! The Larry Ajer Endowment Fund was established in loving memory of Larry Ajer, a long-time Barbershopper and selfless contributor to our Society. We will receive coaching from the top coaches in the Barbershop Harmony Society.
